At first you say way too small to sound any good. England and Wales company registration number 2008885. The Aux and headphone features also make practicing very simple, great sounding, and unintrusive when I need it.

I play in a lot of contemporary churches. For leads it is fantastic, for good clean chords, just back off, tweak the tone, and perhaps mic it for larger Gigs. Not bad at all for the price..miss my 6l6 tubes but that amp was $900 lol.
Haven't used it for guitar yet, but I suspect I'd be just as pleased with that application. As a single channel amp with volume, tone and gain, you have to add gain to get it up loud enough for these applications, and as such there will always be a touch of grit in there - this can be problematic for some pedals like delay, reverb, chorus, phaser and the like. Get Directions | hooked it up to a vintage Orange 4x12 & couldn't stop laughing at how rediculous this little thing is!!!
Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. I love it and have already recommended it to several people. loud enough for home practice, band practice, even gigs with a mic'd cabinet.
Good investment and GREAT value. Portability is definately a plus.
Excellent little amp. I expected my new Micro Terror to sound good out of the box, and it exceeded that. I've tried three different guitars with it. At £99, it's hard to bet against the Micro Terror being another winner for Orange.
Well Done, Orange! Small enough that i can fit it in my hardshell les paul case without any problems. This amp is very small. This page works best with JavaScript.
Orange's specially-designed eight-inch speaker-loaded PPC108 cabinets (£59 each) can be used in conjunction with the Micro Terror for cute mini-stack bedroom or studio thrills, but for the stage you'll likely require something somewhat beefier as far as cabs are concerned. I purchased this primarily to record my Les Paul through and I am so happy that I did.
This Micro Terror gives me exactly that. Overall, this thing is amazing. It"s a serious tone monster.
Probably would have upgraded the cabinet to a 12 if I could have got through on the phone, I plugged this baby in and I was blown away of how loud and crunchy this head is. It is a nice crunchy sound and is surprisingly versatile.
Well when i first got it and plugged it into my orange ppc112 cab I was completely blown away for how great it sounded.

Reviewed in the United States on March 4, 2019. I've never hooked it up to headphones so I cannot comment. It tested off the chart of my machine. And, for just 20 watts of power this little baby is loud. The Micro Terror is a dangerous teaser amp that children should be carefully guarded against.
I can blow the doors off the smaller venues that play if I want to, although when I play solo I don't have a drummer, so I can't vouch for it's ability to overcome a loud drummer. Most places do not like guitar rigs coming in and mic'ing them so I haven't really gone that way. It is loud. Guitar is a Fender USA Standard Strat. When matched with the PPC108 cab, not my thing! I'm a pro guitar player in two cover bands, one classic rock & the other top 40. It"s awsome for practice with its lil ppc108 buddy or run it into a 2x12 cab and you"ll be able to keep up in any situation. Completely happy with the sounds I get out of it! In addition, although the supplied 15-volt DC mains 'wall wart' adaptor works perfectly, it's not as readily replaceable as a regular kettle lead, so you may want to consider obtaining a backup for regular live use. The sound the amp produces from headphone jack leaves quite a bit to be desired as well.
Love this amp!!!!! If you take it for what it is - a super cheap, super cool-looking hybrid - you will not be disappointed. It sounds more like a 5 watt 50’s Gibson Skylark than a 20 watt amp. So fun to play with. Best $... amp setup I have ever heard. So for $300 you can get a pretty amazing sound. I got her an epiphone acoustic years ago. I own this head. It was actually smaller than I originally envisioned. It's the real deal, and everything that is advertised plus more..
Bottom line is this thing is a steal @ 150$, Great tone, very loud & well built. Warm, alive, with tons of character.
I had a wonderful Ibanez (tsa212c) 2×12 cab setting around after I bought my egnater 4x12 for my carvin tube head.. That alone is worth the price! I can't believe this thing is this cheap, this can seriously be used with gigging rig so long as it's a small venue or if you mic it, though rocking a 4x12 you can pretty much squeeze enough air to roll without a mic. Also this is really great practice, recording amp and a great back up amp for a small gig! It's so useful its crazy, just what i was looking for.
It had great tone and was plenty loud had nice orange sound. Classic "British" tone, reasonable pedal friendly and best of all its small enough to carry in your cable bag as an emergency back up. The Orange Micro-Terror is SUPER loud, and it's plenty loud for those who are playing smaller shows! The sound is so BIG. At this price point I can"t believe it sounds as good as it does. I bought it as a novelty gift for the wife, but have been completely blown away.
Runs one of my Hughes & Kettner 4X12's without even breathing hard, and sounds Great full-on Cranked.A little noisy with my pedal board in front of it and using the headphone out to my rack of QSC power amps, but my producer/engineer thinks we can quiet it down with a noise gate or supressor without losing the Amazing tone.
The cab is white and looks great under the micro terror. Good punchy clean and great overdrive. Picked this little lunch box up so I dont have to haul my tube head to jam with anyone. Not only does it sound great as an amp, it also does a very respectable job as a tube Preamp/Direct Box.
Huge tone in a tiny little box that can fit in the pocket of my gig bag (without the speaker box). I bought this amp just to have a small portable amp that was easy to carry around. Buy one.
With little more than a careless tug of your guitar lead, the unit can be dragged off the top of a speaker cabinet or desk. For $150 you will NOT find a better sounding amp.
This is a must have amp if you have a buck fifty burning a hole in your pocket. Over all its just a Killer Little Amp.
My only gripes are that the power cord is a little feeble looking and the head is super light so it is easy to accidentally fling it off of something (though it could sure take the abuse...it is built tough).
I've only used it maybe 20 times, less on the 3.5mm.

This thing has a really good classic rock/early metal tone with the gain control maxed out (think AC/DC). This thing is $150, I believe the Bugera cab is around $150.

Look this thing is a great tool. It just sounds better with the volume working harder and the headphone output is a little harsh for sustained solo practice sessions. It sounds good enough for rockandroll.

I found it easy to dial in a fairly clean tone and just as easily pop in a great, classic tube-driven overdrive.
Combined with a Type 6W controller from Dr. Fishsticks, I have an incredible little rig for my home studio. Before we answer that question, it's worth noting that an amp head this light can get very mobile, very quickly, even when equipped with non-slip rubber feet. Its a hybrid, but you can get good tube sounds easily.
The tone is great right out the box, classic rock with bells on. I go from my electric violin, into my multi effects pedal, a pre-amp eq then into this amp head. Perfect for practicing at home, and still loud enough for jamming with friends!
I run the Micro terror through a 4x12 cab and it sounds amazing! Plenty of power and can get loud. I bought one last year and loved it so much I just got another one! I did replace the stock tube with a 5751 which seemed to smooth out the gain and make it a little predictable. Now it has more headroom and sounds outstanding and LOUD.
I've tried other small amps and most don't cut it. I highly recommend this to anyone with a bad back! I have used it with a couple of different 2X12 cabs and a 4X12 and it truly captures that nice crunchy British sound. I bought this amp as a back up to my main 100 watt all tube head. Hook it up to a 1x12 for a little extra power if you need to as well.

i use peavey virtual software. Plenty of tone control to fit most needs, not going to get a good scoop sound out of it, but that's to be expected. More than enough volume and no issues with frequency response. I know that is not really the point of this amp, but for the price and the volume it can put out it really is a great deal just for it's clean ability.
